Hello readers, today we are about to discuss one of the most sensitive topics doing rounds in recent time. Yes, you guessed it right! We are going to discuss the terrible pandemic that has taken the world by storm and has taken every country in its claws. We will also discuss some preventive measures to keep safe. But before that let us understand what has led to the spread of this deadly virus and where has it originated from? We are going to get the answers to some basic and most frequently asked questions about the Corona Virus!
The source of origin is not yet known but this virus started from a small city named Wuhan in China. There was a sudden outburst in the number of patients suffering from fever and flu-like conditions along with severe respiratory discomfort. Upon detailed research, it came into light that the virus was a completely unknown species and the vaccination for the same is still unknown. The first case of COVID-19 was reported in November 2019 in Wuhan. This disease was highly contagious and people travelling to and from china came into its grip.
This deadly virus is said to have an incubation time of around 2 to 14 days and symptoms start showing there-after. It all starts with minute coughing and sneezing along with fever but the symptoms take a grave turn if ignored and flu-like conditions develop. The virus causes acute respiratory symptoms and the lungs are the worst hit organ. Although medical help works in favour of the patient yet there is no vaccine or proper treatment for this deadly disease. Most of the cases of COVID-19 have mild symptoms and the patient recovers but some chronic cases are fatal. The mortality rate is roughly estimated to be around 3.14%.
Maintaining hygiene and social distancing is the only way to curb this disease and control its spread. This being a highly contagious disease, people are advised to maintain a self-isolation period until things get into control. Scientists and doctors are trying their best to come out with its vaccination as soon as possible but it is still in process and nobody knows exactly how long will the progression take. Using a proper mask and washing and sanitizing hands frequently are the recommended measures by the World Health Organization. You are also advised to follow self-quarantine and hinder the spread of the virus effectively. Even the electronics and technical gadgets like laptops, mobiles, tablets, and head-phones need to be sanitized with alcohol-based solutions to ensure a 100 % germ-free surface. A small mistake can prove fatal for you and your family.
